Research
Dr. Amy Bower is an oceanographer specializing in ocean circulation and climate. She studies deep ocean currents, including the Great Ocean Conveyor, to understand how they redistribute heat and freshwater globally. Despite losing her sight to Retinitis Pigmentosa, she continues her research using adaptive technology. She founded OceanInsight to introduce blind and visually impaired students to geoscience careers.
