Research
Dr. Susan Lozier’s research explores large-scale ocean circulation and climate variability, leading the international OSNAP project to study deep ocean currents. She is a past president of the American Geophysical Union and serves on multiple scientific advisory boards. Lozier is also dedicated to mentoring women in oceanography and was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2020.
